Peter Milne Wholesale Nurseries was founded in 1976 in Glendoick, Perthshire.

Owner Peter Milne trained in Notcutts in Suffolk, Elmwood College in Fife and Glendoick Gardens in Perthshire.

The Wholesale Nursery began life in Glendoick Estate walled garden. As the business expanded it quickly outgrew the first nursery and moved a short distance south to a green field site. Here it has remained although over the years more of the site has gradually been utilised.

To Peter's delight, his son Andrew joined the business in 1996 after following in his father's footsteps and trained at Elmwood College in Fife

With growth of the Nursery has come in increase in the range of plants produced: Rhododendrons, Conifers, Shrubs, Heathers, Azaleas and Herbaceous . Plans are now place to further extend the range of rhododendrons and larger conifers as well as responding speedily to supply the latest 'must have plants' Most of the stock is pot grown.

Peter Milne Wholesale Nurseries offers good quality plants at a very competitive price and is proud of its friendly, efficient service. It enjoys a very good reputation with its customers who include landscapers and garden centers from Aberdeen in the north to Edinburgh in the south.
